What’s in a Name?

Lexern Law Group was founded with a clear purpose and a singular promise - to share our deep expertise in business and estate planning with the business owners and families who need us most. Our name embodies this very concept. “Lexern” is a combination of the Latin word “Lex” (meaning “law”) and “Ern” (a derivative of “earn” or “be worthy of”). We create long-term relationships and treat our clients with the compassion, respect, and admiration they deserve. We like to think that Lexern Law Group offers a rare combination of legal knowledge as well as honest and practical legal advice that our clients just won’t find anywhere else.

Oleg N. FeldmanOleg N. Feldman

Oleg Feldman is the founder of Lexern Law Group. His practice focuses on helping business owners, licensed professionals, and their families across Illinois and Wisconsin to grow, preserve, and protect their assets. His work centers on estate planning, wills, trusts, asset protection, and business law, including company formation, buying and selling businesses, business succession planning, and partnership agreements.

With experience as both a Certified Public Accountant and attorney, Oleg brings a big-picture mindset to every client relationship. Whether you’re setting up a trust, planning your business exit, or protecting your assets from creditors or “family members,” he’s known for delivering clear, practical legal strategies with long-term impact.

He’s especially passionate about helping clients navigate transitions — from growing a business to passing it on to the next generation, or ensuring a legacy is preserved through proper estate planning.

Oleg earned his J.D. from Marquette University Law School (cum laude) and his BBA (summa cum laude) from the University of Wisconsin–Milwaukee. He’s licensed to practice law in both Illinois and Wisconsin, and admitted to several federal courts.

His professional values are rooted in the timeless wisdom of How to Win Friends and Influence People — focusing on relationships, trust, and real communication. Clients know him as straightforward, responsive, and genuinely committed to helping them feel confident about their legal choices.

Outside of work, Oleg is a husband, a father of four – two sets of twins who keep things interesting. He’s also an avid motorcyclist with a love for scenic rides through the mountains and open roads, and a firm believer in staying sharp through fitness and lifelong learning. And of course, no introduction would be complete without Bruno — the firm’s four-legged Director of Loyalty. Equal parts greeter, stress reliever, and mascot, Bruno reminds everyone at the firm that estate planning isn’t complete without provisions for our furry family members.
